The top volleyball team in the MCCAA Western Conference claimed a 25-14, 25-16, 25-20 road victory over Glen Oaks Thursday as Southwestern Michigan College improved to 16-4 overall and 6-0 in league play.
Kylie Quist and Bekah Beachey finished with six kills apiece to lead Glen Oaks, which slipped to 5-12 overall and 0-5 in the Western Conference. Ava DeRyke and Maddie Osburn both finished with three kills, while Keegan Russell and Danielle Watterson had two each.
Osburn produced 13 assists, Braylyn Hernandez and Russell both added a pair of serving aces, and Hernandez paced the Vikings with 16 digs. Quist ended the night with 12 digs and Osburn had 11.
