A 32-point outburst in the third quarter propelled the Grand Rapids Community College women's basketball team to a 78-38 win at Glen Oaks Wednesday.
The Raiders (19-8, 8-3), who have clinched a berth in the Great Lakes District Tournament and currently sit in second place in the MCCAA Western Conference, enjoyed a 20-point night from Sophia Wozniak and an 18-point performance from Tianna Daye.
Tayler Denton and Jordyn Partee both scored nine points for Glen Oaks, which is now 8-18 overall and 2-9 in the Western Conference. Kennedy Lockett was next in line with five points. Partee also led the Vikings with seven rebounds and three assists.
Glen Oaks is back at home Saturday against Southwestern Michigan for Pack The VAC/Sophomore Night at 1 p.m., which will wrap up the regular season.
