Boleware showered with MCCAA awards
Sophomore named to All-MCCA Team and Western Conference Player of the Year.
Glen Oaks sophomore Daivion Boleware's tremendous final season with the Vikings was recognized by the Michigan Community College Athletic Association as the Jackson native received multiple awards, including Western Conference Player of the Year.
After accounting for 20.4 points and 11.8 rebounds per game this season for the Vikings, Boleware landed on the All-MCCAA Team, All-MCCAA Western Conference First Team and was also named to the All-Western Conference Defensive Team. Boleware shot over 40 percent from the field and recorded 26 steals and 15 blocks.
Boleware finished the year with 593 points and 342 rebounds, putting him over 1,000 career points and 500 career rebounds at Glen Oaks.
